A message from Ray Bayliss called "Serving Others", based around Luke 16:19-31, Mark 10:42-45 and other Bible verses.

In this passage, we read about the rich man and the poor, sick beggar called Lazarus. The name Lazarus means "The One Who God Helps". At first, it doesn't look like God is helping Lazarus!

How did the rich man respond? He dressed well and expensively, ate richly, had servants and a luxurious home. But, he ignored Lazarus outside his gate. How do WE respond to those who are less fortunate than us? The beggars and rough sleepers?

Do we give our time and money to those who need it? Do we spend time telling people about Jesus?

And what evidence do people need to believe in God and His Son, Jesus?
